I was so excited to meet Amy of Baby Budget Blog at last season's IFBCon. Amy has amazing style and an eye for finding beautiful pieces for low prices. I can always get on board with shopping budget tips, and Amy makes everything she wears look so fabulous! And this girl knows her shoes. Her blog is so inspirational and always makes me think about out-of-the-box styling. I'm looking forward to meeting up with Amy again next week during Fashion Week. Check out Amy and her fabulous style!

Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Astoria, Queens, New York.

How did you choose your blog's title?
Since
I don't have an infinite amount of money (which, god, I wish I did), I
have to make do with my tiny budget for my shopping addiction, hence,
Baby Budget Blog. Oh and yeah, a lot of people initially think it's a
blog about budgeting for a baby...I have thought about changing the
name, but it's grown on me so I think I'll stick with it!

What item in your closet could you not live without?
I
always ask myself what I'd grab out of my closet in case of a fire.
Truth is, I have an attachment to all my clothes and shoes and bags and
jewelry and belts, which is why I hate giving things away—I've had
pieces for some 13 plus years; but if I had to grab one thing, I guess
it would be my gold and silver Fendi bag in one hand which only comes
out for super special occasions (I haven't even blogged it yet, now
that I think about it) and Sammy (my cat) in the other hand.

What inspires you?
I
just really love clothes, and growing up in a very strict religion
instilled in me to always look my best, so I guess that's stuck with me! Things that catch my eye — like structure, fluid lines, embellished details, color and uniqueness is what inspires me.

What do you love most about blogging?
Need
I say it? Shopping! Ha! My blog gives me an excuse to shop because
after all, I'm "investing" in my business. Hey, works for me and sorta
works on the BF! Blogging is also a creative outlet for
me. After working in the corporate world for over 14 years, it can suck
all the life out of you. So this blog is my daily fix on everything
creative and fun!
